Sunset Announcement and Transition Period

Over the years, Perspective has grown from an experimental tool into a helpful solution for publishers and platforms. As AI capabilities evolve, we are setting our sights on new challenges. We will be sunsetting Perspective API. The API will no longer be in service after 2026, and we will not be offering direct migration support.

Together, we have demonstrated the vital role machine learning plays in enabling online conversations to flourish. Thank you for being a part of this journey.

What This Transition Means For You?

The service will remain active until December 31, 2026.

Usage Requests

Usage requests will be addressed until February 2026.

Quota Requests

Increased quota requests will be addressed until February 2026.

Can I request usage or increased quotas during the transition period?

Yes, you can submit requests until February 2026. After that, we will no longer accept any new requests.

Can I extend my access past the final date?

Unfortunately, no. The API will no longer be in service after 2026.

What is the reason for the sunsetting?

AI capabilities have evolved, and there is now less demand for a standalone tool specific to this area. Jigsaw’s mission also continues to evolve to address new challenges. You can read more about our journey on our website.

Are you offering migration support?

No. We will not be offering direct migration support, but there are various tools available that were inspired by Perspective's capabilities.
